Dr. Pradeep S is an accomplished academic and marketing professional with a diverse career that spans both industry and education. Hailing from a rural area near Bangalore, Dr. Pradeep completed his MBA in 2008 from Reva Institute of Technology and Management. Early in his career, he joined SiliconIndia.com, India’s largest networking portal, as a sales executive. Recognizing his talent, he was quickly promoted to franchisee manager for SiliconIndia’s online courses, which have since become a major success.
Driven by a passion for marketing, Dr. Pradeep earned a PG Diploma in Marketing from Mysuru University in 2010. Although he had opportunities to further his career in corporate roles, he was inspired by his father, a teacher, to pursue a career in education. In 2011, he chose to follow this noble path and joined Sai Vidya Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor, where he held various academic roles under the mentorship of Dr. Jogish.
Dr. Pradeep is a prolific researcher with 19 published research papers, including 7 international papers and 2 journal publications in the management domain. His contributions to academia also include authoring and co-authoring textbooks for Bangalore Central University. He has further distinguished himself as an innovator, holding patents for IoT devices designed for the banking sector, as well as a patented marketing management device in the sales domain.
In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Pradeep is a freelance consumer behavior auditor for numerous multinational corporations, including McDonald’s, Raymond’s, Arvind Mills, Croma, KFC, Indigo Airlines, Tanishq, Tata Motors, and many others. His expertise in understanding consumer trends and behavior has made him a sought-after consultant in the industry.
He has also been recognized internationally, having been nominated for and participated in a faculty exchange program at Cyberjaya University, Malaysia. Currently, Dr. Pradeep serves as an Assistant Professor at the Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies, where he continues to inspire and mentor students while staying at the forefront of research in management and marketing.
